    One week after a man was seriously assaulted in the town, Barrow detectives are urging revellers who were out that night to come forward with information.

    At 3.18am last Saturday (24 July), an 18-year-old local man was found unconscious in an alleyway off Dalton Road in Barrow.

  • Gravel thrown through window hits 16-year-old girl: Frostenden Crescent, Lowestoft

    Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident at an address in Frostenden Crescent around 6.20pm on Saturday 10 July.

    A 16-year-old girl was allegedly struck when someone threw gravel through a window at a property there.

    She was uninjured but police would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident.

  • Woman sustains broken nose and black eyes outside the Royal Standard: Lowestoft

    Police are appealing for witnesses following an altercation in Denmark Road around 12.45am on Sunday 25 July in which a 30-year-old woman sustained a broken nose and two black eyes.

    The altercation is thought to have happened outside the Royal Standard public house and police need to speak to anyone who saw the incident.

    A woman has been left shaken after three robbers attacked her and stole her car and handbag.

    Shortly after 5.30pm on Tuesday 27 July 2010, the 49-year-old victim parked her car on Westcombe Drive, Bury.

    She got out, locked her Vauxhall Astra and was walking away from it when the robbers struck.

    Officers have released CCTV images of a man they would like to talk to in connection with a robbery at a pub in Norwich.

    The incident took place at around 12.30am on Monday, 19 July at The Heartsease in Plumstead Road in the Heartsease area of the city.

  • 17-year-old boy robbed near entrance to amusement centre: Stourport-On-Severn

    Police are appealing for help to trace three youths who robbed a teenager of cash and tobacco near the entrance to Shipleys Amusement Centre in Bridge Street, Stourport.

    It happened at about 10pm on Saturday when the 17-year-old victim was approached by three males, one of whom spoke with a very strong Birmingham accent.

    Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a taxi driver was robbed at knifepoint by three youths near Wythall.

    It happened after the taxi driver was ordered to stop in The Fordrough, off Trueman's Heath Lane, shortly after picking up the males a few miles away in Halifax Road, Shirley, at about 10pm on Wednesday, July 21.

    On Wednesday July 21 a member of the public attended Dursley Police Station to report that a woman had been assaulted the previous day.

    Between midday and 1pm on Tuesday July 20 a 60-year-old local woman was walking along the bottom of Parsonage Street, near to the market place, when she was approached by three men aged between 15 and 19-years-old.

    Police have released CCTV images of a man they need to speak to in connection with a racial incident in Newcastle.

    It happened at around 10.20pm on Friday May 28, 2010, when the victim, a man aged 56, was waiting at the bus stop on Blackett Street for the X47 bus.

    He was approached by a man who has racially abused him.

    The incident happened between 7.45pm and 8pm on Sunday May 30.

  • Teenage woman has top ripped off in canalside attack: Bridgwater

    Police in Bridgwater are appealing for information and witnesses after a teenage woman was sexually assaulted.

    At around 11pm on Monday July 26 the woman walking along the canal towards Taunton Road when an unknown man grabbed her around the waist and ripped her top off.

    The woman managed to struggle free and suffered minor injuries.

    Police are appealing for information after a group of vulnerable people with learning difficulties camping at Tor Leisure Centre, Glastonbury, was subjected to verbal abuse early on Sunday morning (July 25).

    The incident happened at around 3am when a group of people shouted racial abuse and shone laser pens and bright torches at the victims.

    Police are wanting to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a serious assault on a 17-year-old male that happened at a bus-stop on Bonet Lane, Brinsworth at about 2.30pm, Wednesday 14th July.

    The victim, who is from the local area, was standing waiting for a bus when he was approached by a group of male youths.

  • Witness appeal to unprovoked attack in Balloon Bar: Northampton

    Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault that took place in Balloon Bar, Bridge Street at around 1am on Sunday 18 July.

    A 19-year-old man was in Balloon Bar when he was assaulted by a man in an unprovoked attack.

    As a result, the victim fell to the ground and was taken to hospital where he received treatment for minor head injuries.

    Detectives investigating a vicious assault on two teenagers have issued pictures of two men they would like to trace.

    Shortly before 4pm on Sunday 13 June 2010, the two boys aged 13 and 16, were walking along Bradford Road, Miles Platting, towards Clayton.

    They walked past a dark blue Vauxhall Vectra, which was parked on Bradford Road, near the Bargain Booze.
