Police are investigating after a handbag was stolen after someone broke into a red Suburu parked at Nacton Foreshore, Shore Lane, yesterday, Sunday 17 August.

The car was left in the lower car park at 2.20pm, with the handbag in the boot. When the owners returned just before 3.30pm they found the vehicle had been broken into and the bag, containing cash, cards, a mobile phone, glasses and keys, had been taken.

It was later found that a card had been used to make withdrawals at a cashpoint in Woodbridge around 3.30pm.
