Vicente Calderón Stadium: Madrid

On Thursday 21st February 2008 Bolton played Athletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderón Stadium in Madrid.

After the match, which Bolton won, a number of fans started to damage the stadium. They broke the backs off the seats and proceeded to throw them at the Madrid fans below. Many of the others involved in the disorder have been traced but the two men pictured are still outstanding.

Chief Superintendent Dave Lea of Bolton division said: "I know only too well how the events in Madrid developed and vividly remember the violent scenes that followed. In recent years, UK policing has worked tirelessly to remove the minority of people who cause trouble from football altogether.

If you recognise any of these men, or if you were sat near them in stadium during the match and can provide any further information about this disorder, please contact the Football Intelligence Unit on 0161 856 6593.
