    On Saturday the 31st of October my son was mugged for his beloved BMX outside Halfords in Newmarket at around 4:55pm in broad daylight.

    He was approached by a larger teenager of around 19yrs old who grabbed his bike and made off with it.

    The BMX was his world and he had spent an enormous amount of time and money on the cherished bike (over £500).

    A reward of £150 is being offered to help catch weekend vandals who have damaged one of Stroud's showcase public gardens - leaving staff devastated and bringing one elderly visitor to tears.

    Staff who care for the town's Park Gardens arrived at work on Monday morning, July 26, to discover around 100 plants and shrubs had been torn out of the ground and kicked around.

    A £10,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest of a man police want to speak to in connection with the rape of a student.

    Police have taken the step of issuing a picture of 40-year-old Paul Atta in a bid to trace him.

    He is also known as Tony.

  • Reward offered following theft of Cheltenham Gold Cup: Wormington (£15,000.00 Reward)

    Following a burglary at a home address in Wormington near Broadway a reward is being offered for information that leads to the successful arrest and conviction of the offender and the recovery the stolen items.

    Items totalling an estimated £174,000 were stolen in the burglary, which happened in the early hours of Wednesday July 14, including the 1988 Cheltenham Gold Cup.

  • Reward offered for safe return of stolen outboard motors: Porth Daniel Watersports Centre (£500.00 Reward)

    A £500 reward is being offered for the safe return of two outboard motors stolen from the Porth Daniel Watersports Centre in Menai Bridge.

    The theft took place sometime between Sunday July 11 and Tuesday July 13.

    The engines are described as a Honda 20hp four stroke and a mercury 15hp two stroke.

    Damage in excess of £8,000 was caused to eight Minis when someone appears to have run across their bonnets.

    The cars were all at the Mini dealers, Arterial Road, Leigh and the damage occurred some time between 5pm on Sunday, July 4 and 8am on Monday, July 5, 2010.

    Police are appealing for witnesses following a fire at a quarry in Newbiggin.

    At around 4.30am on Tuesday May 25, the fire service were called to Tucks quarry, Spital House, in Newbiggin, after outbuildings on the site were reported to be on fire.

    Police have released CCTV stills of three men they want to identify in connection with a distraction burglary in Retford.

    It happened between 6.50pm and 7pm on Friday 14 May, at a house in Strawberry Road, Thrumpton, Retford.

    A man knocked at the door claiming to be from the Waterboard.

  • Car badges stolen, reward offered: Lane End, High Wycombe (£50.00 Reward)

    Thames Valley Police is offering a £50 reward for information leading to the caution and/or arrest and conviction of those responsible for stealing car badges across the Lane End area.

    Between 17 June and 23 June, ten car badges have been stolen in Lane End.

    The badges stolen are from a range of models and have occurred at times throughout the day and night.

    Crimestoppers are putting the reward of up to £500 to anyone who provides them with information leading to his successful arrest and charge of 20 year old Shyan Myrie.

    Police in Stamford are offering a £150 reward for information after an increase in the theft of number plates from cars.

    Normally, when plates are stolen they are used on cars involved in crimes at a later date, but these plates do not appear to be being used for criminal activity and officers believe they may be being collected - possibly by youngsters.

    During the May bank holiday weekend, (29th - 31st May), a female swan was shot with an air weapon while on its nest, brooding six eggs, near the Thrybergh Lane entrance inside Thrybergh Country Park.

    Detectives investigating a suspected arson in Ryedale are appealing for witnesses to help with their enquiries.

    Dale Head House, which is located between Hawnby and Osmotherley, was 10 months into an extensive programme of renovation when it caught fire overnight between Sunday 23 and Monday 24 May 2010.

  • Reward offered after thieves use cutting torch to set fire to ATM: Lloyds Bank, Alford (£25,000.00 Reward)

    Police are looking for 4 offenders in connection with this offence.

    They used a cutting torch to attack the ATM, setting fire to the machine and causing significant smoke damage to the interior of the bank.

    A business in Chapel St Leonards that was the victim of an act of vandalism has offered a reward to anyone who can assist in finding the offender.

    Between 5pm on Tuesday 1 June and 9am the following morning, an object was deliberately thrown at the window of Estate Agents Lincolnshire on Sea Road in the village, causing it to smash.
